[Photos:] The Menstrual Shebang Fashion Show – An Enlightening Affair

To celebrate Menstrual Hygiene Day on Friday 28th May, and what better a way to crown it all than with a fashion show? The Menstrual Shebang Fashion Show was a celebration of womanhood and that time of the month. It was organized by Shyaka Lwanyaaga Farid, the Founder of Wellbeing Foundation – an organization that advocates for Menstrual Rights and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights.

Hosted by Malaika Nyanzi, the stylish event kicked off with a panel discussion on Menstrual Health before hitting the run way at MOTIV UG. Different designers showed off their designs inspired by menstruation and the celebration of that time. Let’s take a look at all the fashion of the night!
