Photos: Emolsa Haasacha’s Fiercest, Weirdest and Most Outrageous Red Carpet Looks, So Far

It’s impossible to talk about red carpet style in Kampala and forget the name Emolsa. The creative director/model coach/ PR manager is known for his unique sense of style, which he always puts to good use every time a red carpet opportunity glides his way. To Emolsa, style is a lot more than an outstanding outfit, he goes ahead to wear even more outstanding hairstyles to go with these outfits. Even if that means wearing ‘faux dreadlocks’ which he has to take out after the event!

We’re wondering what he has up his sleeves for 2019.

When he was all in glass

Before renowned slay queen Nana Akua Addo even thought about wearing her iconic glass filled gown at the 2017 ASFAs, Emolsa had done it all already. At the CMVA awards last year, the stunner put his ‘man boobs’ on full display in this glass-filled suit. Surprisingly, it’s the shoes that grabbed all the attention!

Because he’s never afraid of putting his well-sculpted body on full display, at the 2016 ASFAs, he glided up the red carpet in a black ‘barely there’ shirt, giant platforms, high raise Emolsam DNA pants, suspenders and a tinted wig!

At the launch of the 2017 PAFA awards, he wore something we’ve failed to describe! All we see is a denim jacket worn from the back!

For the last edition of Blankets & Wine last year, he was pretty much covered up. Not your definition of ‘covering up’ though

At the 2017 ASFAS, a pair of glass-filled platforms made their runway debut thanks to Emolsa. He wore them with a PVC bodysuit which, obviously put his ‘man boobs’ on full display again.

Between the hustle of walking the red carpet wearing a PVC outfit, he had time to have a costume change. This over-sized jumpsuit with ‘ostrich feather’ detail came in handy.

At the 2017 UEAs, he wore denim on denim on denim on denim accessorised with a denim on denim head wrap. And, he didn’t smile at all the entire evening.

He opted for something simple and understated at the 2017 Young Achievers Awards. However, basic has never been his forte. See that ‘beaded necktie?

His second look at the 2018 ASFAs was as pleated and eccentric as it can get

He arrived to the 2018 ASFAs caged causing a storm on social media
