If you’ve attended a Buzz event before, you know that no event is attended by more wacky and weird fashionistas like a Buzz event. This is what happened last Saturday during Buzz Magazine’s inaugural Buzz Dream Fair. For the first time, the youth-centric magazine pushed its flagship event, Buzz Teeniez Awards to December, to accommodate a fresh new fun and exciting career fair, dubbed Buzz Dream Fair.
Aimed at entertaining while inspiring the teens to follow their dreams, the event featured mentorship sessions covering everything from fashion, to art, film making, technology, music and makeup. The sessions were facilitated by renowned makeup artist Shillat Nambooze, Swangz’s Benon Mugumbya, Isaac Nabwana of Wakaliwood and more.

In true Buzz style, teen fashionistas rolled out in wacky getups; from overly distressed denims to outrageously mismatched prints. Not to get upstaged by the teens, artists dabbled into this weirdness, with Nina Roz and Fresh Kid opting to wear the same print during their performances probably without their knowledge.

The career fest featured entertainment from Vinka. John Blaq, Grenade Official, Timothy Code and more, plus a special Silent disco session.
