Irene Nakitende Channels ‘Afro Chic’ in New Shoot Lensed By Oscar Ntege

Irene Nakitende strikes a pose to channel ‘Afro Chic’ in a new shoot done to celebrate the power and resilience of an African woman. The philanthropist, model, and beauty queen uses her platform to create awareness around issues affecting Africans in the diaspora.

According to Nakitende, this shoot weaves fashion and design in an attempt to celebrate our African roots and culture. Her dress, embroidered with pearls and lace detailing, represents the perfection, power, and resilience of the African woman

Irene Nakitende is the founder of Different Better With A Purpose, an organization. She is a former Miss Uganda Rising Woman and Rising Star Award Winner 2019. She’s a student at the University of North Texas (UNT).
