This Sunday, on November 26, 2023, folks gathered at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo for the 19th Roast and Rhyme edition themed “Cheers to the Holidays.”
Even with the unexpected rain, people flooded in and turned up in big numbers.

Everyone was super stylish and most people understood the assignment (they wore boots), so the mud had nothing on them.
Anyway, even those without boots were sorted as they were Gumboots being sold on ground so people danced themselves away with no worry.

True to its name, Roast and Rhyme offered a feast of Nyama Choma that delighted taste buds.
Imagine this: the sweet smell of nyama choma in the air, people happily grilling their own meat, sipping on Bell Lager, and swaying to the live performances from the likes of Steve Keys, Myko Ouma, Kamanzi, and Lydia Jasmine.

Levixone closed the show, leaving everyone on a musical high.

In the end, the 19th edition of Roast and Rhyme proved once again that no amount of rain could dampen the festive spirit of those who came together to celebrate good music, delectable grills, and the joy of the holiday season.
