| My darling mother Ruth.N.Kalyowa,
Dear mother, I write this letter to you with lots of love. I appreciate the love and guidance you give to me, your consistent prayers and words of wisdom push me every day.
Mother, you deserve the title of “mother of the year”, for all the times you stood by me when I got pregnant before getting married. I can’t forget the day I disclosed the news to you, and you led me to dad to convey the news to him as well, in anguish, he backed at me. Ooh, sweet mother, you whispered to me that Esther let’s go away from here before your dad does something bad to you.
Mother thanks for being there for me and the long days you spent by my side when all the world had turned against me. Tears flow in my eyes when I recall those hard days, mother I can’t stop thanking you for the clothes and bags, food etc you gave me and my husband when we had nothing to eat when the world had become dark you held us up. The sleepless nights you spent at the hospital when I had given birth to my loving sons. You’re one in a million.
My superstar the loans you took for me and my siblings to have a good education, Mama webaale nyoo mukwano.
The times you came at university carrying bread and fruits haha mother thank you, the words you talked to us and my friends keep us going each day.
When it came to my introduction and wedding, you worked tooth and nail so that my functions could be the best. Nothing can equate to the love you give me.
Once again thanks for the prayers you and the seeds you sow for us tusiima nyoo mother. My only prayer is for you to live many more years to come, and as I say I’ll always give you the best and you’ll always be my number moja Ruth.N.Kalyowa my superhero.

Yours faithfully
Esther. k.Mugabi
