Mona Holds 5th Edition of Mona Makeup Masterclass: Here’s Everything We Saw There

The 5^th edition of the Mona Makeup Masterclass was held over the weekend from 9^th to 10^th September at Summit Residences Naguru. Glass-shattering would aptly describe the event, which coincided with the unveiling of Mona’s new body mist; the Mona Magic Mist, heralding a new era for the ace-makeup artist and beauty entrepreneur.

The masterclass, as with all previous editions, featured hands-on training and tutorials from Mona herself, beauty classes, and so much more. With the help of her muses, Mona, who has almost 10 years of experience under her belt, demonstrated various makeup techniques such as; tips on choosing the right foundation, contouring and highlighting, eyebrow shaping and other eyeliner techniques, lip makeup, guidance on makeup brushes, sponges, and product selection, plus a run through of the latest makeup trends.

The second day of the masterclass featured a one-on-one chat with Ms. Bhavya Kalsi, the founder and CEO of Kona, who shared her knowledge on brand building and marketing whilst she had her makeup done by Mona.

Apart from the learning and hands-on support from the Mona team, students received a whole lot of goodie bags from sponsors and partners who included; Natna Hair, Kwezi Beauty Secrets, Bio Balance Probiotics, Zaron, Aspire One Beauty, The Kolour Kiosk and Active Body Therapy.

The class ended with speeches from Mona, Sina the CEO of Natna Hair who gave a discount to all the students on her products, and then a group photo, before an after-party later in the evening..
