Uganda’s Natasha Nyonyozi has been named one of the four continental winners of the prestigious Beauty With a Purpose award at Miss World 2025.
During an emotional and inspiring gala held in Hyderabad, hosted by philanthropist Sudha Reddy, Natasha’s Nyonyozi Initiative was honored for its exceptional commitment to raising autism awareness and promoting social inclusion.
Her project focuses on building an inclusive community where individuals with special needs, especially those with autism, are loved, valued, and accepted. From a pool of 108 remarkable projects worldwide, Natasha was selected as the continental winner for Africa, securing her a fast-track spot into the Top 10 of her region and a spot in the Top 40 at Miss World 2025.
She joins an elite group of changemakers: Valeeria Perez of Puerto Rico, Millie Mae Adams of Wales, and Monica Kezia of Indonesia each recognized for transformative initiatives in their respective continents. The event highlighted not just the power of advocacy but also the heart behind each contestant’s mission.
Julia Morley CBE, Chair of Miss World, praised the winners, saying, “I’m so proud of every young woman here not just for what they do, but for who they are.” Runner-ups from Paraguay, Sierra Leone, Spain, and Vietnam were also acknowledged, making this year’s Beauty With a Purpose celebration a powerful reminder that beauty can truly drive global change.
