Micro Concealing: The “New” Makeup Trend You’ve Probably Been Doing For Years
Kim Kardashian may not be synonymous with the natural look, but her makeup isn’t always caked on in layers. Her makeup artist Mario Dedivanovic swears by this “new” technique called Micro concealing. We say new in quotes because this is something that we might have done a few too many times without knowing we were onto something. Let’s explain.
See, micro concealing is a technique where instead of doing the whole full face coverage, contour/highlight thing for your face, you instead take concealer and simply apply it to small problem areas with dark spots, pimples or other issues that you want to leave hidden. It’s great because the face remains light and not too much product is used, which is great for your skin and your pocket.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I am not about to have full face of makeup every single day. Heading out looking good is a must though, and on regular days, micro concealing is the go-to, I just didn’t know that it was called so. I just knew that pimple scar had to hide, this dark spot had to go, and the look had to remain natural, I-woke-up-like-this feel in case I ran into my crush.
Ir’s interesting at how something that seems so by-the-way, instantly becomes a trend when a name is assigned it. Now it’s the wave!
Maybe we are the only ones, drop a comment if you have unknowingly done micro concealing before the name for it came up.
