Catch a Whiff Of ‘S & V Escape The Ordinary’, A Ugandan Fragrance

Ugandans are often hesitant to support local brands, for the most because most of these brands spend little time perfecting the quality of their products. That’s not what you get with ‘S & V Escape the ordinary‘ though, a new perfume that’s branded following international standards, from it’s packaging to its content.

The luxury fragrance is probably one of the most beautifully packaged perfumes by a Ugandan maker, and yet with all that, it is still so affordable.

S & V, which stands for Sun Valor, is a brainchild of  Natuha Sharon Tushabomwe, a 26-year-old Ugandan businesswoman who started the brand in 2017 after spending close to 10 years away from home.

“According to me, ‘Sun & Valor’ is the perfect description of a Ugandan woman. She is a champion who can handle everything gracefully with a smile, bringing a piece of sunshine while at it,” Tushabomwe shares in a statement.

S & V is a complete fashion brand, with a clothing store located at Krsna Mart Kisementi.

“Being the fragrance lover that I am, I decided to do ‘Escape The Ordinary’, a fragrance suited for the Ugandan woman as part of the S & V brand,” she continues.

It is a beautiful and fruity sexy scent that won’t over take your senses but still hold its place The notes of scent include bergamot, mandarin, geranium, peach, rhubarb, grapefruit, sandalwood and musk.

“Every bottle comes topped with a crown because that’s a simple way of appreciating every woman out there for holding it down,” she adds.

It is Eau De Parfum which makes it last beautifully. The bottle comes in a 100 ml bottle which is slim enough to slip into your purse.

Pricing? The perfume will set you back only UGX 160,000.
