From submitting product for the Grammys consideration and voting during the GRAMMY Awards process, the greater music community relies on the Academy to foster a diverse community of experts to actively participate in the process that awards music’s brightest talents.

As new members of the Recording Academy, creators and professionals join a roster of their peers dedicated to serving, celebrating, representing, and advocating for music year-round. Membership powers everything at the Recording Academy – the Grammys, advocacy for music people, music education, and philanthropy and reflects the dynamic and diverse music community they serve.

Members are the foundation of the Recording Academy. This week, the academy extended invitations to a remarkable group of close to 3,700 creators and professionals spanning various genres, crafts, backgrounds, and regions to join the Grammy’s mission to cultivate a more enriching world for creators.

Among the 3,700 invitees was our very own GNL Zamba. He captioned the announcement post saying – “Exciting news family!!! #IAmTheAcademy and have joined countless creators and professionals who serve, celebrate, and advocate in the name of music year-round. It’s an honor to be part of this year’s new @recordingacademy member class.”

These exceptional invitees epitomize the essence of music – leading the direction of our creative community and bringing forth ideas to propel positive progress. The Grammys invite them as members, but also as torchbearers of our mission to reflect the vibrant global music community they proudly serve.

If you’re interested in becoming a member of the #RecordingAcademy, visit RecordingAcademy.com/Join. The Grammys are accepting applications year-round.
