M.A.C Cosmetics X Teyana Taylor 90’s Collab Is Makeup Goals!

Singer/songwriter, actress and model Teyana Taylor has collaborated with M.A.C Cosmetics on a 90’s inspired makeup collection. She shares what inspired her on the collection, “I was inspired by the 90s and the heart & soul of Harlem and wanted to show that through the shades and packaging,” she states.

In an Instagram post announcing the collab, she talks about how much she has revered the makeup company for so many years, “Wow yo! I remember walking by the Mac store on 125th street coming from school, amazed at all the dope campaign ads spread across floor to ceiling windows & on other major department stores.” she adds, “That was big for me being a young black girl from Harlem telling myself that one day that would be me plastered in that window! Long story short, and by the grace of God, here I am with my own up and coming capsule collection for M•A•C!!!!!”

The glossy lip she’s wearing in the saucy campaign photos is from the collection, which is to be released in July.
