Kenyan TV Star Amina Rabar Sizzles in Frothy Fatumahasha Gown

Kenyan on-air personality Amina Abdi Rabar celebrated her birthday yesterday with a series of photos she shared to her gram. In one of the shots, the Coke Studio Africa voice strikes a pose in a frothy yellow tulle Fatumahasha gown. 

The gown, which ‘weighs a tonne’, featured  layers of tulle, an asymmetric neckline and beading which cascaded from her neck going down to her shoulders. According to Fatumah Asha, the gown took hours to create, and shipping it to Nairobi was not easier because of its weight.

It was created for the Kenyan star to wear to the AMVCAs which held in Lagos in March, where she was the first East African to host the event. Unfortunately, it didn’t make it to the event. 

In this birthday shoot, Rabar was styled by ASFA award-winning stylist Brian Babu who accessorised the gown with pieces from beauty galore Kenya.
