Nairobi born fashion brand KATUSH by Katungulu Mwendwa is set to launch presales for their latest collection, dubbed “One Manjano,” which was introduced at Paris Fashion Week.
According to KATUSH, the collection is ethical, slow fashion practice to create a genderless, versatile wardrobe that truly serves the wearer.
Much like the collection’s essence, the name One Manjano celebrates Africa’s craftsmanship and handmade beauty.
From Swahili, “One Manjano” translates directly to “One Yellow” — it means no two pieces are identical.
The ‘One Manjano’ collection comprises the Dabassah handwoven Kimono, the Upepo Trench and Ulimwengu trousers, the mini mashariki leather skirt, among others.
We compiled a few looks from the collection. Scroll down to have a look.
