Kais Divo Collection Presents ‘The Rebirth’, A New Collection During Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Kigali

The collection explores the spirit of now

One of the highlights from the just concluded Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Kigali was a new collection from Ugandan designer Kaijuka Abbas of Kai’s Divo Collection.

Titled ‘The Rebirth’, the collection explores the spirit of now. ‘The Rebirth’ is about being purified and ready for to take on the world after a tumultuous time with the lockdowns we were in,” Kaijuka offered in a statement shortly before the showcase. “It is a celebration of the resilience of every individual who has and still is fighting to end this pandemic despite the distress and job losses that came with it, we are still very hopeful that this too shall pass.”

Kai’s Divo Collection’s use of white with a play with shapes obviously made this collection stand out. Plus, each of the looks created enough impact on its own.
