Kaijuka Abbas Receives 40 Under 40 Africa Award

Abbas Kaijuka of Kais Divo Collection continues to set the standard when it comes to exporting Ugandan fashion and representing the motherland proudly. For his latest achievement, Kaijuka Abbas won a Forty under 40 Africa Award under the category of Fashion.

The Ugandan designer, renowned for his ‘out-of-the-box’ approach to design had this to say about his well-deserved win:

I am thrilled to announce that I am the proud recipient of the @fortyu40africa awards in South Africa under the category of Fashion. I have been awarded many times in my life, but this is possibly the most humbling one of them all.
I can’t thank you all enough; everyone around the world that took the time to vote for me for this award. Your support and love overwhelm me.

And special thanks goes to the Jury of the Forty Under Forty for this award, and congratulations to every Game Changer from across Africa that I was nominated with in this category.
