Kaijuka Abbas of Kais Divo Collection Wins Designer of the Year at Swahili Fashion Week Awards

Ugandan bespoke fashion designer Kaijuka Abbas of Kais Divo Collection has finally achieved a long-awaited milestone, winning Designer of the Year at the Swahili Fashion Week Awards in Tanzania. After five years of nominations, the win is a dream come true for the designer, who has worked tirelessly to make his mark in the fashion industry.

“I am beyond thrilled to have finally won Designer of the Year at @swahilifashionweek in Tanzania!” Kaijuka shared with excitement. “This platform gave me my first breakthrough, and I will forever cherish and honor the opportunities it has provided.”
