The internet is already buzzing with news that Jumia, Kampala’s favourite e-tailer is bringing back #BlackFriday. Slated to kick off on November 27th (about 2 weeks from now), this year’s sale is set to be the biggest and most exciting. With discounts of up to 90% on everything from electronics, gadgets and our best part – fashion items, this is surely going to break the internet. Thanks to Jumia, we can all get into the festive season in style.
Jumia is the first e-tailer to bring this highly popular shopping event to Uganda. And it will be strictly online. #BlackFriday is celebrated around the world especially in the US and UK, offering mega discounts on shopping. Shoppers wait for hours outside malls just so they can get their hands on items on sale. This is exactly what happened a few weeks ago when H&M launched their collab with Balmain. Shoppers went wild and everything sold out in minutes.
The internet is already going wild, so start counting down to #BlackFriday as well. We’ve already gotten in touch with Jumia for details on which vendors will be offering which discounts and so expect to see it all here. For now, save your money and wait for November 27th.
