Bride: Fauziah Kyosiimire, a businesswoman
Groom: Kasalirwe Brian, a lawyer
Their story
Brian and I met on a popular Facebook group I won’t mention. Someone posted in the group that she was looking for a job. I responded to her post saying I was looking for a job as well. In a split second, I received a message from a one Brian saying that he had a job for me. In his own words he says, he checked out my profile picture before reaching out, so it was more than a second.
We chatted for a while, but interestingly, I later realized that he had no job for me. He was actually interested in me. Up until now I’ve never seen the job. He was also very quick to make his intentions clear that he was looking for a wife. We exchanged numbers and later exchanged photos too. Yes, I liked him too, it was love at first sight, even when it was online. We organized to meet.
I fell for Brian’s kindness, genuine love, and religious spirit. We continued meeting on weekends for dates. Since our religion advises us to hurry to marry to avoid Zina, we dated for only 6 months and got married. We held our introduction & Nikkah ceremony in Dec.
Recently, when I reminded him about the job offer he had for me, he laughed it off, and promised to get me capital to start my own business. I’m waiting on him. I had completely forgotten about it, because, well, I found the man of my dreams.
