How To Look Red Carpet Ready
Looking great on the red carpet doesn’t come easy, but can if you prepare. As the year winds up, the most sought after red carpet events of the calendar are getting close, I mean Kampala Fashion Week and Abryanz Style and Fashion awards and if I may pose a question, ”Are you ready?”
Here are somethings you need to think about before you plan to slay that red carpet.
The theme
Knowing and understanding the theme is important. We have witnessed fashion malfunctions even by the most stylish and fashionable international icons on the globe because of this. It doesn’t hurt to confirm the theme prior.
Showcase your slayage levels.
Dress your best and walk with poise on the red carpet. Don’t act like you have been forced onto carpet.
Too Matchy-Matchy.
It’s very tempting to match everything for the red carpet. “Don’t match your shoes to the color of your dress—that’s very 1990s’ prom.” I
Time and Venue of the show.
These may look obvious but I have seen people arrive either too early or too late for the event. Knowing the venue and location helps you plan for parking, security and how much time you need to be on time.
Get company.
This is my personal rule, it works for me and I am sure it will for you too. So, before you plan to attend any show or festival, get some company first, and I suggest you get someone who is fun and open minded. Company will make the show more enjoyable however boring the event is.
See you on the red carpet.
