Here is My ‘Taste Test’ of the New White Cap Crisp Beer

By  |

I’d not describe myself as an avid drinker. If not for an occasional social event or a celebration, and actually prefer it.  When I tried White Cap Crisp for the first time, I noted just how fitting it is to my kind of lifestyle. It has a lightness to it that makes for a nice low-key sipping, nothing crazy. I ordered a cold one to go with my chicken pesto pasta, and it went well on the sweltering hot day that it was.

It is as gold and foamy as any other beer, with a light wheaty aroma to it. I found it was best experienced cold, because as the intense heat of the day warmed the glass it was slightly less pleasant to taste. But when cold and frosty, it tasted crispy.

It went down smoothly, wasn’t too strong of a taste. I would definitely try it again, this time though – I think fish would be a fitting pairing.
