Boutique Review

I Checked Out Glitz By Nalu’s New Prime Complex Branch So You Don’t Have To

By  |

In a bid to serve their clientele better, Kampala’s ‘it-luxury fashion house’ Glitz by Nalu opened a new branch in downtown Kampala, Luwum street to be precise. Located on Prime Complex (shop D-14), the store is one of the brand’s many big plans for the year which include a stand-alone bridal boutique to open in another location.

I checked out the new store so that you know what to expect when you drop by. Besides braving the long stairway up the building, getting to the boutique is a walk in the park, of course, if you know the shop number. Although fairly small, the store borrows the ‘glitzy appearance’ of the parent store at The Cube with gold wallpaper and a fairly lit appearance.

The offering is not different either. Super flashy rompers, glitzy gowns, and those statement boots seen only on bodies of people like Sheebah fill the display and racks. It’s almost impossible to not see something glittery or shimmering everywhere you turn. Their collection of affordable denim pieces from shorts to pants and jackets is what blew away. It’s actually possible to ‘slay’ on a budget, if there’s anything like that in the ‘slayctionary’!

For the bride that prefers to be ‘extra’

A glitzy romper anyone?

That printed dress with ruched sleeves is a must-have!

Customer care – Excellent

The store manager Joan is probably one of the reasons I’ll be visiting the store once more soon. So warm, kind and happy to serve.

Prices – Good

Considering their super flashy and trendy collection, the prices are fair.

Convenience – Good

Besides the long stairway, the store is located in a convenient location if you run a lot of your business downtown. Should you need something custom made or tailored, you’ll be directed to the Kisementi branch though.

Fitting space – Fair

There’s enough space for you fit into clothes, and most importantly, the mirror won’t make you look fat!
