Sylvia Wilson Namutebi Allibhai, Miss Uganda 2011, has been nominated to represent Uganda as Mrs. World Uganda at the Mrs. World beauty Pageant slated to hold in Sri Lanka in March 2021.

This will be Namutebi’s third time to represent Uganda at a global beauty pageant. In 2011, she competed in the 61st edition of Miss World, which held at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre in London. In 2013, she was crowned second Runner up at the Miss Global Beauty pageant, which was held at Sunset Beach Resort, Spa and Water Park in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

Founded in 1984, Mrs. World is the first beauty pageant for married women. It celebrates accomplished married women who are positively impacting their communities. Namutebi emerged as the strongest contender to represent Uganda and will join her predecessors Mrs. World Uganda 2011, Crystal Newman and Mrs. World Uganda 2009, Halima Namakula in the bid to bring the coveted crown home.

She is a married to Talent Africa Group CEO Aly Allibhai. She was also the driving force behind the revival of the Miss Uganda Pageant, and was very instrumental in the campaign that saw Quinn Abenakyo get crowned as Miss World Africa in 2018-2019. She holds a degree in Human Resource Management, and is passionate about philanthropy which she does through the Talent Africa Foundation.
