Fashion Connect Gala, A Platform With The Vision Of Igniting The Growth Of Uganda’s Fashion Industry is Here

Uganda’s fashion industry is a real force to reckon with, with bustling activity all the way from design, styling and marketing until people get the clothing onto their bodies. Finally, Ugandans are not just paying attention, they are going out there to support local talent. Fashion Connect Gala, an event which is launching this Sunday, is poised to be the the most impactful platform championing this growth.

The initial purpose of the gala is to develop a positive and inspirational mindset in everyone working in and passionate about the fashion industry. The organisers are also looking at celebrating the richness of togetherness, expressing art, music and heritage fashion.

Fashion Connect Gala will officially be launched tomorrow (Sunday) at Verses in Rubaga. The gala is slated to hold in December with all proceeds going into supporting various fashion institutions in Uganda.
