Do You Think You’re The Next Big Thing In African Fashion? Your Chance Is Here

Guarantee Trust Bank has been known for it’s contributions to fashion in Africa, especially through their Fashion Weekends. Well it’s coming back around and for the second time, giving a chance to fashion designers all over Africa to get their name out! In case you felt you were underrated or have not yet gotten your big break, GTB is here to change that.

They are bringing back the #Sketch2Fame competition to let African designers show off their designer skills and possibly get a slot at the Fashion Weekend, which is taking place from November 9th and 10th.

Competition Details:

The competition begun on 13th September and ends on 27th September, with really easy steps to participate.

1. Share 5 of your original sketches for a new collection on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter with the official hashtag #Sketch2Fame
2. A team of judges would shortlist the most original and innovative collections for the next stage.
3. Shortlisted sketches will be contacted via the GTBank Facebook, Twitter and Instagram handles.
4. Winners will be announced subsequently.

So get sketching! In the terms and conditions, it mentions disqualifying any participants who post more than once, so be cautious of spamming your social media with the hashtag. If you’re really good, they will see you. Here’s a preview of the former winner from Nigeria, Charles Egbejule.
