Dior has announced today that its Resort 2020 collection will be shown in Marrakech, Morocco on Monday, April 29th.
According to WWD, Marrakech is most closely associated with the late couturier Yves Saint Laurent, who considered Morocco his second home and designed some of his best collections there. The Yves Saint Laurent Museum, opened in 2017, and the neighbouring Majorelle Garden have become major tourist attractions.
This will be first time the French luxury will be staging a show in the African city. The show is usually attended by a select list of influencers, celebrities and magazine editors from across the globe.
