Black Eye Liner Just Won’t Do Anymore, Here’s Why

We all know that black eyeliner is that finishing touch to every eye look, and we’ve had fun with the winged eye, the dark lash line and everything in between.. But is black getting played out?

Using the same kind of product in the same colour everyday can get boring for us women, and if there is a whole bucket of lipsticks to choose from, why not the same for eyeliner?

This is what some of these celebrities thought. Black liner had to go, so they have been playing around with many random colours like neon green, and the direct opposite of black, white. We first saw it with Rihanna (naturally) and now it spread, Yara Shahidi, Willow Smith – even our own Spice Diana has jumped on the wave.

This gives a much more playful look and emphasizes the lashes a lot more, so for those of us who have tiny lashes, they look much more outlined when they have to contrast with white or a lighter colour.
