This Friday, one lucky young lady is going to receive a highly a coveted crown, one that represents the pride and beauty of Uganda – Miss Uganda. Besides this sparkly crown, what else is Miss Uganda 2018 walking away with?

According to Brenda Nanyonjo, the CEO of the beauty pageant, Miss Uganda 2018 is set to walk away with a brand new car – which comes in handy because of the new found fame and responsibilities. However, this car is just one of the many prizes, she will travel to Washington DC first thing next month for a fully paid holiday courtesy of UNAA Causes.

In the past, winners of the crown have received a mouth-watering monthly stipend as part of their prize package, we’re convinced the same is happening for the new queen. There’s also a long list of endorsement deals lined up, although Talent Africa couldn’t pronounce themselves on the brands she will front.

But, she’s not the only one going home a winner. The first runner-up and second runner-up walk away with hefty prizes too. Not forgetting other categories such as Miss Popularity, Miss Beach Beauty, Miss Sports queen and more.

Hefty prizes aside, the biggest prize up for grabs is the coveted title of Miss Uganda and the pride it comes with. This means representing this country at Miss World, which in itself is a dream for many young girls out there.
