Comedienne Anne Kansiime is one of four African entertainers that are up to win an award at the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards. She is nominated in the “Favourite African Social Star” category alongside DJ Cuppy, Chane Grobler and Prev Reddy (who all hail from South Africa)

Now in its 33rd year, the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards is the only award show that gives kids the power to vote for their favourites in movies, television, music, sports and much more – and honours their opinions with a live show filled with the stars they love.
Once again Nickelodeon Africa will be voting for a local category to the awards, to give African viewers an opportunity to vote for their favorites as well.
The winner, selected by public vote, will be awarded with a Nickelodeon KCA ‘Blimp’ award – The presentation of the award will be featured during the KCA show which will air on Nickelodeon, NickToons and MTV Base.
