All The High Fashion Our Queen Blessed Us With In The ‘Spirit’ Video

Stepping on our necks and we can't get enough!

I’m sure by now you have watched, at least seen hints of the ‘Spirit’ video by Beyonce. If you haven’t, please, before I count to three find your way out and respect your queen!

1, 2, 3…

Welcome back. Well if you watched it you know how good she looked in each and every scene of that video, but honestly, what did we expect her to look like? Well, if you wanted to know the exact things she wore, or just a closer look at the fabulosity she was dripping with, we got you covered.

The looks were bold with mostly solid colours and her background dancers were of course in formation with their complementary looks. The video had a strong scenic backdrop of the Grand Canyon and it gave off all the dopest desert vibes for the ‘Lion King’ soundtrack.

Let’s start with the pink and red from the very beginning; Beyonce is dramatically draped in a pink and red Valentino coat from the Spring ’19 Couture collection. Underneath it there’s a sultry latex dress by Venus Prototype.

The part where Princess Blu joins her in a matching dress… ughhh I die!!

There was then a smokey scene where she lay on the ground in a bright pink Shahar Avent dress.

She went on to the Hasavu Waterfall in a drapey electric blue dress with gold running down her arms. It’s almost like she knew the Hive was thirsty.

Bey then showed up strong in a black and white blazer and bustier by Togoro Studio from Dakar. Her face jewelry was also by the same designer.

She led her dancers in a light green caftan for the next scene, and she was still covered in gold for this part. I couldn’t help but notice the cornrows that hinted to the ones she wore to the premiere.

At some point she is under a tree in a stunning beaded ivory piece by Brazilian brand Maison Alexandrine. The cowrie shell headpiece was crafted by Ivorian designer La Falaise Dion.

Other looks we cannot forget include her deep blue jumpsuit with lots of shimmering fringe by Laurel DeWitt as well as the red fringe piece by Deviant La Vie that had us in a transe for a moment. She ended it in an orange knit dress by Mark Fast.

We expected a lot from Beyonce when she got the role of Nala but she went ahead and superseded any of the ideals we might have anticipated, that’s why she is our queen!
