Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards 2019 is Officially Here! 

Africa’s biggest red carpet event, the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards is back, and we literally can’t sit down because of this. The team behind this high heeled event has today announced the return of the 7^th edition of the ASFAs.

According to a press release, the event is slated to hold on 13^th of December at Serena Hotel in Kampala. Africa’s top players in fashion will be celebrated across 14 categories. Some of the new changes include new categories; ‘Icon Award’, ‘Positive Change award’ and ‘Special Recognition award for innovation’. Nominations kickoff this Friday (20^th September, 2019) and end on 8^th October, 2019.

This event is famous for its out of the box themes which dictate the dress code. This year’s theme is ‘The Starz’. According to the press release, “the theme seeks to emphasize that the future of the African generation is for ‘us by us’.”

Talent Africa, one of Uganda’s top event management companies joins hands with the team this year. According the release, “Talent Africa will work together with the ASFAs to bring a new level of professionalism in event and business management. The ultimate goal of the new partnership is to make the ASFAs the biggest fashion event in Africa.”

Just like last year’s edition, three events will hold as we get to the December gala. A nominee’s party, a fashionpreneur summit and a model master class. Dates for these will be announced in due course.

The event will be broadcast live on NTV Uganda and Spice TV.
