Meta is gearing up to shake up the video editing world with its latest innovation, Edits. The app, announced by Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri, promises to be more than just another editing tool—it’s a fully equipped creative hub designed for content creators.

Slated for release in March, Edits will be available for both iOS and Android users. Creators can already pre-order the app on the Apple App Store, with its availability on Google Play coming soon. The app boasts a suite of features, including a dedicated inspiration tab, tools to organize ideas, and the ability to collaborate with others by sharing drafts.

Mosseri described Edits as “a complete creative suite,” highlighting its user-friendly design and versatility. One of its standout features is an upgraded camera that offers “much higher quality” for video recording, though details about this improvement remain under wraps. Additionally, creators who post their videos on Instagram will have access to in-depth insights about their content’s performance.
