1. Balmain Goes Back to Basics For its F/W ’23 Campaign
For the Fall-Winter 2023 campaign, the house of Balmain taps photographer @rafaelpavarotti_. Combining the rich, vibrant color palettes of his photographs with Pierre Balmain’s enduring, bold “new French style”, this campaign places the focus squarely on the collection’s attention to detail and the house’s historic craftsmanship.
The campaign focuses on heritage and craftsmanship continues to drive us. So, there are no props, no dream locations, and no CGI—for these images and videos, the camera is simply and exquisitely centered on precise Parisian tailoring and architectural volumes, helping make clear that this collection builds directly upon Pierre Balmain’s audacious and enduring ‘New French Style.’
