Afsana Pey On Her Most Fearless Career Decision So Far
There’s just something about fearless women that never stops boggling our minds. What does fear mean to them, and how can we be just as badass as they are?
In this series, we talk to a few of women who looked fear in the eye, and made some really bold and pivotal decisions in their lives.
Today we meet Afsana Pey, a business woman, the CEO of Minama Beauty; let’s dive into what fearlessness means to her.
What is the most fearless decision you have ever made?
Moving to South Africa. It was difficult in the start, especially when it came to leaving my family and friends, but finally S.A is home now for me – I am comfortable. No new friends ha ha keeping my circles small as always.
What is your definition of Fearless?
To manage to “walk to the future” and do it effortlessly. Despite not knowing what is coming my way and yet it all turns out to be amazing, all I can say is Alhamdullilah.
Who are your most fierce/fearless role models?
My mother is the most fearless woman, I’ve learnt a lot from her. She has a pure heart, and if you’re pure trust me everything will go smooth for you. Livity
What has been your most fearless fashion choice so far?
I wore heels for 30 hours straight! There was an event I attended and straight after the event I had to hurry to the airport to catch a flight connecting from one destination to the other. My feet got swollen and when we finally landed my luggage hadn’t yet arrived! I had to wear those heels until I got my bags back.
