The mobile app that will save life

It is on record that over 3000 Ugandans lose their lives every year in road traffic accidents. Most of these accidents are caused by a poor road safety culture and failure to follow traffic rules. It should also be noted that Boda boda motorists are the biggest offenders of these rules. Whilst using a boda boda is the easiest most reliable form of transport, it is also the most dangerous one. Just early this week a fresh MUBS graduate lost her life as she was she heading to work on a boda boda.

Hehe Limited has developed an application which is bound to make this Boda Boda experience safer. The app is called ‘SafeBoda’ and will help link you to a safe boda boda near you.

They pick the best motor drivers in the city and train them on good customer service and safety. They are then  equipped with the best gear, clean helmets, mechanically sound bikes and enough technology to keep you in excellent hands.

Each driver wears a reflector with their name adorned on it at the back. I guess you’ve seen a number of them on the road already. This we believe is the safest way to go.
