Breaking News: Legendary Fashion Editrix Keturah Kamugasa Has Died 

Keturah Kamugasa, the longtime editor-in-chief of Flair for Her magazine is dead, Newvision the publishing house of the female-centric magazine has confirmed on social media. The fashion guru who landed our list of the Most influential people in Uganda’s fashion industry was also the style editor of Bride and Groom magazine and wrote a fashion column for the Tuesday paper of Newvision.

“She was pronounced dead today 3:30pm at IHK Namuwongo. Burial arrangements will be communicated.” reads a statement shared on Newvision’s Facebook page.

Kamugasa has been one of the most accomplished fashion editors and writers in Uganda. Thanks to this, her magazines (Flair for Her and Bride & Groom) are two of the most powerful voices in our small fashion publishing industry. Her work and unique eye for detail has always inspired many of us .

It really saddens us to share the news of her untimely demise. Rest in peace Keturah.
