Swangz Avenue released the much hyped music video to the remix of Winnie Nwagi and Vinka’s ‘Amaaso’ song featuring rappers The Mith and Feffe Busi plus DJ Harold this week. Between the original and the remix, I wouldn’t choose one over the other. Both versions are beautiful in their own way. The urban remix is slower and groovier than the original, a perfect fit for the club. I’m convinced this is why Club Beer jumped right in to sponsor the project.
The brand placement in this video is just too hard to ignore; from all the Club beer brand merchandise to the blue and purple the singers wear head to toe. Video sponsorships are not new in the marketing industry, brands usually collaborate with artists on projects such as this one, where brand products are placed strategically in music videos.
