‘Women of Valour’ Starring Barbie Kyagulanyi, Crystal Newman, Sheilah Gashumba, Judithiana and Vinka is Girl Power Goals

The press seems to love pitting women against each other but we’re choosing togetherness

Barbie Kyagulanyi, Crystal Newman, Sheilah Gashumba, Judithiana and Vinka are celebrating International Women’s Day with a campaign shoot titled ‘Women of Valour.

The campaign, which is styled by renowned stylist Solomon Tazibone is a celebration of “women emancipation, feminism, creating empowerment and inspiring the now and next generation of the girl child,” according to a statement.

Barbie Kyagulanyi is a published author and Executive Director of Caring Hearts Uganda. Crystal Newman is a celebrated media personality. Sheilah Gashumba is a brand ambassador and entrepreneur. Vinka is a recording artist. Judithiana is a celebrated on-air personality. If this isn’t girl power goals, I wonder what it is.

Each of the women wears a dramatic costume custom designed by Sham Tyra.
