We Don’t Know What To Think About Lupita’s ‘Little Monsters’ Sundance Film Festival Premiere Outfit

We know Lupita Nyongo for never failing to impress, even in the trickiest outfit, and all this is thanks to her genius stylist Micaela Erlanger. However, because the Oscar winner is a human just like us, some style choices aren’t going to work. Case in point, her recent appearance at the Sundance Film Festival to promote her movie ‘Little Monsters’.

The Kenyan star went for an odd pairing, wearing a mid-length black velvet dress with black tights and black shoes. She maintained her box braids which caused a stir at the SAG awards last weekend. Of course, wearing head to toe black is not a bad idea, and considering the weather at the event, it was quite appropriate in the functional sense. We however can’t say the same in the sartorial sense.
