Valentino R. Kabenge Mentors Pearl of Africa Star Search Finalists Ahead of Grand Finale This Sunday

Valentino R. Kabenge has spent the better part of this week with the 6 finalists of Pearl of Africa Star Search ahead of their finale this Sunday. The renowned Latin and Ballroom dancer and host of ‘Dance with Valentino’ has been coaching and mentoring the budding singers on their stage presence, poise and confidence, tapping into his experience as a dancer, choreographer and host of “Dance with Valentino’. 

“It has been exciting spending two days with Carsteen, , Ibrahim, Timothy, Sandra and Tracy. They are immensely talented individuals, each with their own sound and style that they have been polishing all week. I am excited to see how they are able to put all they learned into practice” commented Valentino.

“It has been such an honour and privilege to be asked by Talent Africa to mentor this new generation of talented singers and choreograph some of the accompanying dances. We are in for such a treat as they sing with their hearts and souls – each one already a winner.”

After weeks of singing their hearts out as they explore Uganda, the six finalists will this weekend sing for the grand prize of Shs. 60m and the coveted title of ‘Uganda’s Tourism Ambassador’. It’s all up to The judges’ panel of Cindy, Navio and Joanita Kawalya, who will choose who outshines all.

Pearl of Africa Star Search is a unique talent show designed to promote Uganda’s musical talent and tourism.

The finale will be a live show to air on NBS TV from 2:30pm to 5:00pm this Sunday.
