Two top TV personalities share their grooming and fitness rituals

TV personalities know the importance of grooming and fitness. They make no qualms about  keeping their bodies in great shape. Not many famous Kampala men take these things seriously. The men below take the matters in their own hands and here they share their grooming and fitness rituals.

How do you keep your body in shape? Do you have a gym routine?

I used to then quit and now am back at it. I follow the 5 minute Adrian James workout. 300 skips and an occasional jog around my home. That’s it.

Do you watch what you eat? How is your diet like?

Why lie? I don’t. I actually don’t watch what I eat.

Interesting. How about grooming? How often do you visit your barber?

I do once a week. But if there’s an event I have to attend then I just go clean up. So I might say depending on the circumstances but once a week.

Do you go all out with your skin care regimen? Do you moisturize, exfoliate and do facials?

No I don’t. I guess I don’t have sensitive skin! Rather I think.

So what do you do for the skin?

I only apply lotion.

What are favorite brands for lotion and fragrances?

Lotion its Nivea men. Fragrance I have many preferences. Dolce and Gabanna and Lacoste for cologne.

What’s your take on grooming and fitness for men?

Well, I just think being in the  spotlight or not, every man must  make an effort to look good.

How often do you  work out?

That ‘s 3 to 4 times a week.

What’s your preference? Home or gym?

Definitely gym.

So what drills do you prefer while in the gym?

I work on my legs, biceps, shoulders, triceps and the chest.

Is that like skipping or pushups?

I prefer pushups.

Do you think you eat differently?

I don’t think so. Only that I eat a lot of  body building food and also  make sure I have 3 meals a day.

Let’s talk about grooming. How often do you see your barber?

I visit the barber twice a month.

What do you do for your skin? Do you do facials?

I don’t. I guess my skin is naturally good. However I shower with Dove. It helps me fore go that hectic grooming routine.

What are your favorite brands?

Apart from Dove for shower gel, I can’t get enough of Dior fragrances.

What’s your take on grooming and fitness for men?

It’s upon every man to stay in good shape and look good. It’s a lot of work but trust me it’s worth it.
