Have you too noticed that designers are having a huge interest in sleeves? We’ve seen statement sleeves, bell sleeves, puffy sleeves and even extended sleeves. There’s no doubt that a lot of design inspiration is being drawn from just one feature, the sleeve. And, it is evident that this fascination is not about to wane.
The standout feature now is a split on a sleeve. The split goes all the way up the sleeve from the cuff, sometimes up to the shoulder or just the elbow. This feature can be found on dresses, jackets and blouses. It is dramatic, and can be a great update to your wardrobe, if you’re looking for something modern and fresh.
If you’re feeling like ‘split sleeves’ but don’t own a shirt or top with the feature, simply just wear your oversized shirt with all its sleeve placket buttons undone. You can also cut slits into your tops, but that I wouldn’t advise you to do.
