These Fresh Off The Movie Set Of ‘The Matrix’ Sunglasses are The New Definition of Cool
When it comes to new style trends, we always look to stars such as Bettinah Tianah and Judithiana for ways to make them work with ease. Take, for instance, these new tiny retro sunglasses ruling the style circuit right now. Of course, we had second thoughts about them until we saw Judithiana looking impossibly cool in them. Now that Bettinah Tianah has come out to endorse the trend too, there’s no doubt that this is another eyewear trend about to take over Kampala.
The revenge of the 90’s is upon us in more ways than one, and there’s no need to complain if these trends cropping back are anything to go by. After their resurgence last year, on the faces of ‘it celebs’ such as Rihanna, tiny sunglasses are gaining some sort of cult of following. Favoured by Instagram stars and street style fashionistas, the sunglasses are the new definition of cool.
Ideally, sunglasses are worn to shield the wearer’s eyes and face from the sun. From the look of things, this new sunglass trend doesn’t serve that purpose. They are so small and narrow, they only cover just a tiny bit of your face. If that’s not enough, the coolest way to wear them is by letting the frames sit on the bridge of your nose. This ultimately means no eyes are shielded from the sun and this is probably a deliberate attempt to attract attention.
If attracting attention is the purpose to serve here, they have attracted lots of it. Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, Vinka and more are a few of the many ‘attention seeking’ stars loving the trend. And if you love to attract attention too, don’t hesitate to give them a shot.
These fresh off the movie set of ‘The Matrix’ sunglasses come in all sorts of shapes; from cat eye, round, rectangular and more. The shades are just as many. From blacks to blues to neon green.
