The Uganda Entertainment awards launch this Friday

The awards aimed at recognizing and awarding the best in Uganda’s diverse realm of entertainment will be officially launched at Club Cyclone this Friday.  Uganda Entertainment awards are billed to be the single most important event in the entertainment industry. At the launch, the organizing team will unveil the entire floor plan and road map of this first of its kind campaign. This will all be leading up to the grand event slated for September 4th.

About the awards

The Uganda Entertainment awards (UEA’s) are being organized and produced by Cents Events Limited, an all-round production, development, promotion and management Company in Uganda that seeks to promote untapped talent in Uganda’s entertainment industry.

Uganda’s entertainment industry has a panoply of arts, yet for a reason enshrouded in ignorance by the people who stir the entertainment ship, the focus has only been on music and a few other performing arts, something that has left many talents unappreciated. Many will attest to the fact that Uganda has many extremely talented actors, comedians, sportsmen, DJ’s, MC’s yet many of them haven’t been exposed or pushed past their local theatre audience or better still, appreciated for their craft. The UEA’s therefore seek to stir Uganda’s entertainment ship past the local stage and thrust it into international limelight.

 The launch will be held at Club Cyclone this Friday.
