According to a press release, registration kicked off on 1st August, 2021, and it’s being done through country representatives of the pageant.
The grand crowning is slated to hold in the beautiful Carnival City of Calabar on the 27th of December 2021 during the annual Calabar Christmas Festival. According to the Head of production Miss Africa and the Senior Special Assistant Governor’s Office Events Production & Tourism, Mr. Thomas Ikpeme; the 2021 edition will have more countries participating after a slump last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Registration is open to the 54 African countries.
