The Best Beauty Looks Of The Week
Make-up can’t exactly solve all your problems, but it’s a pretty good start to doing so! It makes you feel a little more confident about yourself, and that right there is the first step to solving anything or going through any day. And, to celebrate the end of the week, here is a compilation of some of our favourite beauty looks.
MONA’S SMILEY VEE-VAH!
They say a smile is the best make-up you could ever wear ! They sure didn’t lie when they said it!
Veevah’s eyebrows are not overly drawn, her eye shadows are somewhat subtle except for the hints of gold here and there – less is more for sure! The best thing about this look is her skin, it’s not heavily covered up in products!
Mona faces is the artist behind this effortless make-up look on her muse VeeVah. It makes you realize that sometimes all you need to stand out is a genuine smile!
PAT McGRATH’S EFFORTLESS GLAM
Jackie Aina is Pat McGrath’s muse this week and it’s been nothing short of glam – in a subtle way.
Pat kept Jackie’s skin clean and smooth while maintaining her glow and contour. For the eyes, she went in for black eye-liner clearly crafting out her eyes and ending up with a little wing. It’s important to keep the contrast going on especially around the eyes, notice how dark Jackie’s eye-liner is and how white her eyes are – that’s what makes the make-up work even better.
One of the major differences between this look and Mona’s look is the different coverage levels the foundations they used here – Mona’s coverage is medium (or one could call it light), Jackie’s coverage is full on.
NAHYA’S GLOW
If you love glowing or going real bright with your highlighters, Nahya glam should be your go to make-up artist. She sure knows how to create a smooth canvas and make it glow.
When it comes to creating this look, you should be in love with blending all your make-up together!
ALISSA ASHLEY’S CHERRIES ON TOP!
Take a dramatic twist with your lipstick by trying out different shades all together like Alissa did for her cherry lips.
I loved her eye-liner ! The liner on her lower lash line stops midway the lashes – it’s a unique eye lining technique. For her lipstick, am pretty sure those could have been three different lip products, a dark lip liner, a lipstick and a gloss on top!
PATRICIA’ BRIGHT’S ALL NUDES
If you understand your skin and its tones, you can be sure to have fun with your make-up just like Patricia !
Creating an almost “no make up” effect can be pretty easy. Patricia’s make up is almost so natural but my favourite thing about it is her lip colour which works so well with her undertones! Way to go!
For an almost no make-up look, just enhance what ”you feel is missing on your face” but do it minimally. I love her false wispy lashes that draw you in to her eyes, her contour is almost invisible as well!
TRACY’S REAL NO MAKE-UP MAKE-UP LOOK.
For some, creating the no make up look is absolutely fun and easy. Tracy Ninsiima makes it seem even easier just by wearing lipstick alone for her no make up look!
With good brows and good skin, its so easy to create that ”no make up” look for real!
And that’s a wrap for now.
Have a lovely weekend!
Humura Ruth!
