I stumbled upon this music video Stress by Eddy Kenzo & Faceoff last week as I was doing my rounds on You Tube. Well your guess is as good as mine – he sang in English again. He seems to be hard headed. However my interest was in the fashion not the diction.
I noticed some street style ideas that I had to share. Eddy Kenzo is a very stylish artiste. Not many Ugandan artistes pay attention to style. Here are some of the street styling ideas we get from this video.
The black jacket he dons here is fashion force. You notice the exotic finishing it has and the raised collar. The all black look can be cool too mostly if one of the fashion items has a bit of edge.
The focus here is on the bling. With a black T-shirt on, trust me all your accessories will pop.
Army print can be cool when styled well. The shirt would have looked cool even without the neck bling, You notice that his shirt is buttoned up completely.
Here he’s clad in damaged jeans. He has folded the pants up. This is done to emphasize the shoes. Its always cool like that. You want to make your shoes pop, pull the pants up slightly above the ankles.
You notice the gentleman clad in a sleeveless denim shirt. Well everything sleeveless is a street style staple. Its always hot on the street so you’ve got to let loose. However your arms have to a bit toned. Sleeveless denim shirts are very trendy.
He matches a converse all stars with fitting denim pants and a collar less shirt. The street style idea is you can as well emphasize your shoes by just tucking the pants into shoes. Its that easy.
Kenzo’s all black ensemble is on point. His mate Facee Off’s look is a different story. The jacket would have looked a lot cooler if it was paired with t shirt, white shirt or black shirt. It looks mismatched and completely out of place with that striped shirt.
The full video is here. Expect lines such I wanna do what a wanna do. Take wara have…
