I must say my curiosity was piqued the first time I saw the square-toe heels on my Instagram explore page. I know one would be worried most especially about how their feet will look inside one of these. Because of its unique design, the square-toe heels leave a lot to ponder about before you actually decide to buy a pair. However, they are a cool trend, edgy, fashionable and definitely won’t make your feet look funny.
Pointed-toe shoes have reigned from runways, to wardrobes and I’m happy to see the Fashion world embrace 90s fashion démodé (mum and dad shoes). This has offered us a clue into the current obsession with square-toe heels. The question of the day is, would I wear the square-toe heels? Well yes, I’m always happy to experiment and here are fun ways you can experiment with the square-toe heels too.
- Bottega Veneta mesh pumps
Inaugurated by the creative director of Bottega Veneta, Daniel Lee, the sleek and meshed square-toe mules won the fashion crowd over. They come in colours black and beige. Add a funky flare to your office pant suit with these.
Chiko shoes
Are you in love with boots? Do you have a funky, rocker-chic sense of style? Well these block square-toe boots are your go-to trend!
Sophia mules
Ugandan girl living the life of the party, girl let these mules bring the party home. Better yet, in neon shades!
BoopDo block heel sandals
For a rather more comfortable approach to the square-toe heels, the boopdo block heel sandals are a good option for brunch, picnic date, or just heading out to buy some groceries. The second option would be a fun way to exercise the colour blocking skills we learned from my previous article!
