Since the covid-19 pandemic struck and a lockdown imposed on big events such as concerts, artistes have had to get creative to have new revenue streams. Topping the list of the most creative is none other than Spice Diana, who has had to dabble into comedy, influencer marketing and so much more. Now, there’s even more – creative direction.

The ‘Ready’ singer just received credits as creative director on Barbie Kyagulanyi’s birthday photoshoot. Kyagulanyi took to Instagram last evening to thank the singer for “plucking me out of my comfort zone to have these pictures taken,” she wrote. The Ghetto First Lady went ahead to credit the singer for letting her ‘celebrate life differently’ as she celebrates her birthday.

In the vintage inspired shoot, she poses against a rugged tree wearing a sleek black velvet gown. She later poses with the singer in matching looks. The looks are accessorised with leopard print corset belts and a matching fascinator for Kyagulanyi. The looks were styled by Kai’s Divo Collection and photographed by Hassan of GShotit Photography.

Stunning, yes, but not surprising! In an interview with Satisfashion UG in March, the singer told us that she’s always been a fashion girl. “I believe I fell in love with clothes and art as a child. You know when you have art in you, fashion comes naturally. Fashion is now like a full time job – I’m doing it in my music videos, at concerts – everything around me is now art, music and fashion,” she said.
