South Africa Men’s wear Fashion Week set for February

The very first South African Menswear week is launching next month. South Africa already hosts a number of fashion weeks which mainly focus on women’swear. South African Menswear Week is set to launch in Cape Town from 4 to 7 February, 2015.

This is an exciting opportunity to showcase local designers’ talent: ‘the goal is [for the fashion week] to be the leading platform in terms of innovation, trends, production and most importantly, the promotion of [the] designers. It’s about building credibility for the platform that will enable designers to grow their businesses’ says menswearweek.co.za.

The line-up includes shows by Rich Mnisi, Laduma Ngxokolo and Craig Port, all designers who have been in the games for years.
